As many of you may have already heard, tragedy struck the city of Baton Rouge which has since caused various protests and riots.
Alton Sterling was a 37 year-old father, son, friend, and worker.
He was also an African American.
Baton Rouge police violently approached Sterling, where they later used a stun gun on him before fatally shooting him.
Luckily, bystanders caught this event on video. However, the police involved are claiming that they took such measures because they felt threatened.
I, personally, respect and honor police officers. But the problem that I have is that often times there are those officers who take advantage of the system as well as taking the law into their own hands.
I pray for the Sterling family and for the future of our children
